DISCOS & PARTIES

The right DJ, matched to the right event.

Parties and events come in all shapes and sizes. One of the most important things is making sure the right DJ is matched to the right event.

I've been doing this long enough to know what I do well — and also when a particular event or style of music isn't the right fit for me personally. I generally wouldn't take on younger birthday parties, or an evening built entirely around a genre I'm not completely comfortable delivering.

So the starting point is simple: tell me what you're planning, who it's for, what music you want and what atmosphere you're after.

I’ll DJ your event personally

If we’re the right fit, I’ll be there myself - getting to know you, understanding what you want and looking after everything from our first conversation to the final song.

I’ll find your perfect DJ

If I’m not the right fit, that doesn’t mean we stop there. I work with a brilliant network of DJs with different personalities, experience and musical styles, so I can introduce you to someone who’s just right for your event.

One fixed quotation, covering the DJ service, equipment, timings and everything we've agreed. It won't suddenly change unless the circumstances of the event do.

MORE THAN JUST BOOKING A DJ

Three things worth thinking about first

Simple things to consider before you even get to the entertainment, they can make a big difference to whether an event feels busy, comfortable and enjoyable.

1

Get the guest list right

Work out realistically how many people will attend. A venue that's too big for your numbers can feel empty, even with a full guest list.

2

Check the bar prices

High bar prices can quickly change the atmosphere of an evening, and how long people choose to stay.

3

Understand the venue rules

Set-up times, sound limiters, access and power all affect how the night runs, worth checking early, not on the day.

WORTH ASKING YOUR VENUE

Questions that save problems later

Timings & sound

  • How early can suppliers get in to set up?

  • What time must the music finish?

  • Is there a sound limiter, and if so, what level is it set at?

  • Are there restrictions on DJs, bands or lighting?

  • What time does everything need to be removed?

Access & logistics

  • Can equipment be collected the following morning?

  • Where can suppliers load and unload?

  • Is there suitable power available?

  • Are there stairs, lifts or access restrictions?

It isn't about simply putting a DJ behind a set of decks.

The right music. The right atmosphere. The right equipment. The right person.

LET'S TALK

Tell me about your event.

Whatever you're planning, tell me who it's for and what you're after, and I'll take it from there.
