WEDDING CEREMONIES

Your love. Your story. Your ceremony.

A wedding ceremony should feel like it belongs to the couple standing there, not a script with a few names and dates changed.

MAKE IT YOURS

What your ceremony can include

As your celebrant, my role is to take your story and turn it into a ceremony that feels completely personal to you.

Your story

  • How you met

  • What first attracted you to each other

  • The moments that shaped your relationship

  • The things you love about each other

  • The funny stories

  • The difficult times you've overcome together

  • What marriage means to you

  • What you want your future to look like

Your ceremony

  • Your own vows

  • Readings

  • Music

  • Family involvement

  • Friends taking part

  • Symbolic elements

  • Moments of humour

  • Anything else that feels right for you

"A great wedding celebrant should be a bit of a hopeless romantic - someone who genuinely enjoys hearing how two people met, what they love about each other, and why they've chosen to stand in front of the people who matter most."

By the end of the ceremony, the people in front of you should understand your story, feel the connection between you, and leave knowing just how much you mean to each other.

Your love. Your story. Your ceremony.

Tell me a little about you both, and we'll take it from there.

WHAT IS A WEDDING CELEBRANT?

A ceremony, separate from the paperwork.

A wedding celebrant creates and delivers a personal wedding ceremony, but unlike a registrar, isn't recording the marriage on the public record. The celebrant-led ceremony is usually separate from the legal marriage process.

Almost anyone can call themselves a celebrant, there's no legal requirement to hold a qualification. But proper training makes a real difference to ceremony structure, working with couples, writing meaningful content and delivering it confidently on the day.

Training gives you the tools but, being a great celebrant takes so much more.
